AHI served as strategic housing advisor to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE), working over a period of six months to create a national housing strategic plan for the next ten years. MRHE is a government-sponsored corporation committed to housing assista­nce and services in Dubai. In addition, AHI provides MHRE with strategic guidance in creating an enabling market and environment for private sector participation in the provision of affordable housing in Dubai, based on extensive research and analysis, alternative policies and international examples of innovative government housing entities. This is an example of strategically creating the enabling environment for a successful PPP, with the MRHE – the government’s housing authority – interacting with private developers.
