AHI worked with the World Bank’s Djibouti team to structure a workshop module expounding on the basics of housing microfinance as they apply to Djibouti, to assess the demand-side value chain and its connection to informal housing and tenure, to evaluate existing microfinance entities in Djibouti, and to propose an action plan for housing microfinance in the country to address the enormous backlog of under-financed and under-improved informal housing.
